About Us

An Indian, a Scot & an English girl blog about living in Delhi (or the NCR if we’re being very picky – some of us put up in Noida)

Our first post pretty much sums up how and why the blog came about, but here’s a bit more about us:

Susanna is originally from Scotland, but through a long chain of bizarre events she ended up moving to Delhi and is still here nearly two years on. She spends her time studying Hindi, and writes a column for First City magazine and a blog for the Times of India.

Udita is 22, was brought up all over India, and has never left the country. Apart from a few vernaculars, she is fluent in Hindi and English. In her free time, she reads, writes, and enjoys chaperoning Maegan around Delhi.

Maegan is sadly not even nearly fluent in Hindi, but she can dream. Having returned to Delhi after a year’s stint in Chennai, she spends her afternoons studying at Delhi University, and her mornings working for the feminist publisher Tara Books.
